Pokemon 151 Background

New "Blooming Waters Premium Collection" for Pokémon 151 Dropping in February, Plus a Japan Reprint!

Just when we thought the Pokémon 151 hype was winding down, guess what? There's more!

Get ready for the "Blooming Waters Premium Collection" set to hit shelves in the U.S., Europe, and other regions this coming February. The collection packs in 12 booster packs from the 151 set, four special promo cards, a jumbo card, and a code card—basically everything a collector could want to relive the 151 excitement!

The 151 set originally dropped way back in September 2023, so this collection arrives about a year and a half later. It's shaping up to be a fun throwback release, giving fans one last big chance to grab more 151 packs. Not the first time we've seen Pokémon do something like this, but it's definitely going to be a collector's treat.

Now, as for the name "Blooming Waters"—it's got us wondering. Are we talking about the likes of Venusaur and Blastoise here? Or maybe Vileplume's "Full Blooming Energy" Ability has something to do with it? Honestly, there aren’t any new promos in Japan that jump out as clear candidates for this collection, so it’ll be interesting to see what they reveal.

We'll know for sure once the full details drop in December, so stay tuned for the reveal!

On another note, Japan is getting another shot at the 151 set too. Distributors have confirmed that more Pokémon 151 booster boxes will be back in stock at Pokémon Centers and retailers this December. So if you missed out the first time, you'll have another chance to snag them!
